This course will review the core sections of the Algebra I Regents exam. With algebraic concepts making up over 50% of the exam, focus will be placed on seeing structure in expressions, arithmetic with polynomials and rational expressions, creating equations, and reasoning with equations and inequalities. Functions, another important topic making up over 30% of the exam, will be reviewed so students are exposed to interpreting and building functions.
Students will be given an Algebra I study guide, past Regents practice exam, and worksheets.
